Tips Before You Start: To save yourself a lot of time, you may consider starting the story mode on veteran difficulty (you choose the difficulty level at the end of the first level), this way you can get 9 silver trophies in your first playthrough without having to play the story a second time. Play the Special Ops missions with friends to make it easier on yourselves.

TIP – Simply complete the first mission, “S.S.D.D.” on any difficulty level in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Simply complete the second mission, “Team Player” on any difficulty level in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Simply complete the third mission, “Cliffhanger” on any difficulty level in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Finish the fifth mission, “Takedown” on any difficulty setting in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Finish the seventh mission, “Wolverines!” on any difficulty setting in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Finish the eleventh mission, “The Gulag” on any difficulty setting in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Finish the twelfth mission, “Of Their Own Accord” on any difficulty setting in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Finish the fifteenth mission, “Whiskey Hotel” on any difficulty setting in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Finish the sixteenth mission, “Loose Ends” on any difficulty setting in the single-player campaign.

TIP – Finish the seventeenth mission, “The Enemy of My Enemy” on any difficulty setting in the single-player campaign.

TIP – The best way to do this is with two pistols running through the course looking through the guns sights shooting enemies as you pass through, there’s no time to stop so keep moving but not so fast that you can’t shoot the targets. Try to get two hits in one when possible and switch to your second pistol instead of reloading your first pistol. The video below may help you more with this trophy.

TIP – The guys you are forced to kill at the beginning of the level do not count for this trophy, but when you and Sargent split separate ways you cannot alert anyone or injure anybody but the Sargent can who is still helping you from a vantage point, when you land your cross-hairs on somebody, sarge will automatically kill them out front, when you get inside the fenced in area you will have to do some stealth moves around a few people, the video guide below will help you out more.

TIP – When you arrive at the market area in the “Hornets Nest” (the area with all the chickens in cages), find a big stack of cages of chickens and toss a grenade at them, than start shooting at nearby cages of chickens that are alive. The grenade should knock out quite a bit of chickens which helps you in kill amounts, if you don’t succeed, kill yourself and try that checkpoint again.

TIP – Complete any Special Ops mission winning one gold star, the first Special Ops challenge in “The Pit” is easy because all you have to do is complete it to get a star, which should take you about a minute.

TIP – Can be achieved by playing and completing all four Special Ops missions in the easiest difficulty setting in the Alpha Stage.

TIP – Can easily be done buy playing every Special Ops mission on the easiest difficulty setting in the Alpha and Beta stages.

TIP – Complete eleven different special Ops missions at least on the easiest difficulty and getting one star on each for this trophy. Doing Special Ops missions with a friend can make these missions much easier but they can still be done on your own.

TIP – You have to play any five special ops missions on veteran difficulty (3 stars) to get this trophy. The easiest way to complete Special Ops missions on veteran is with a friend.

TIP – Possible if you complete nearly every Special Ops on the easiest difficulty at the least, but you can accumulate 21 stars in any way to get this trophy.

TIP – Play through every Special Ops mission and complete them all in “Regular” difficulty to get this trophy.

TIP – To be downed in Special Ops you have to be playing with another player. When you get injured you will fall to the ground wielding your pistol, your teammate will have 1 minute to a minute and a half to heal you depending on the difficulty level, while you’re down kill four guys with your pistol before they shoot you even more and you are unable to wield your pistol while down, when you get this trophy, call your friend over the help you back up. It is recommended to play on the “Regular” difficulty setting for quicker and easier kills while downed.

TIP – The Charlie Stage of Special Ops is when you first have access to a mission with a juggernaut. Choose “Snatch & Grab” (Regular difficulty recommended). When the mission is loaded a juggernaut will come for you from the right, get out your sniper rifle and kill him (You will know who the juggernaut is by the fact that you are shooting him and he is not dying, he also looks very distinctive). The sniper rifle does a good job at killing the juggernaut. If you die, retry and do the same process until you get this trophy.

TIP – The simple way to get this is in the “Wolverines!” level in the single-player campaign. When you make it to defending the Burger Town restaurant there will be large groups of enemies rushing from many areas, press the right button to open up the predator missile interface and launch a missile at the center a large group of enemies, you should get it but if you don’t, no worry’s, you will have quite a few times to do this while you are defending Burger Town.

TIP – A quick and easy way to get this is by going into special ops and picking the Terminal level in the Delta Stage, choose “Regular” difficulty and launch the mission, when you start, get your gun, and walk out of the room, some guys to your left will come at you, kill them, now some guys with shields will start to come down the escalator, kill some of them, grab a shield, run up to someone, and beat them down with the shield by pressing down on the right analogue stick. If you don’t have access to this special ops mission, go in the mission select and choose “No Russian” or “Gulag”, choose “Recruit” difficulty and when you find a shield do what was said above.

TIP – You get many good chances in the mission, “The Only Easy Day… Was Yesterday”. Before you are about to breach any door get out your secondary weapon (SCAR-H Silenced Thermal Sight). This is a powerful gun so shoot four guys in a row with one shot each. If you feel you didn’t get four one-hit kills in a breach, kill a poor hostage to try that checkpoint again. I got the trophy on the second breach in this mission.

TIP – Kill six people with a thermal weapon, a weapon with a thermal scope. You start off with a thermal weapon as your secondary in “The Only Easy Day… Was Yesterday”, shoot everyone you come in contact with including the breaches, after six kills, you should get this trophy. If you have the Echo Stage for Special Ops unlocked then you have access to thermal weapons when you first start both “High Explosive” and “Armor Piercing”. Play these on “Regular” difficulty to get this easily.

TIP – A way to get this is on the single-player mission “Cliffhanger” when you are on the runway and snowmobiles are rushing towards you, shoot at the driver when the front of the snowmobile is facing you and is close to hitting you and the bullet should go through the driver and also hit the passenger, killing them both. If you had no luck, kill yourself and try it again until you get the trophy.

TIP – The easiest way to get this trophy is at the “Endgame” level ion “Recruit” difficulty n the single-player campaign since you have access to the boat right when you start, you have unlimited ammo while in the boat so just keep shooting at enemies and enemy boats until you get this trophy. When you finish the game you can always go back to this level in chapter select.

TIP – Go into Special Ops Alpha Stage (unlocked already) and choose the “Suspension” mission. When you start the mission run on the right side of the bridge by the speed limit sign and you should see a few enemies rappelling off the right side of the bridge, shoot two in a row down before their feet get on the ground. If you didn’t get the trophy, simply restart the mission and do it again.

TIP – In the mission “Team Player”, while you’re in the Humvee, shoot at least one enemy with the turret (1st kill), when you fall out of the Humvee rush in the building ahead of you on your right side and run to the stairs with your pistol wielded and shoot the guy coming down the stairs (2nd kill), quickly pick up the gun he dropped by switching it with your pistol as you won’t need it anymore. Now kill the guy at the top of the stairs coming towards you with your new gun (3rd kill). Switch to your primary and kill the next guy that runs towards you (4th kill). Get the AK-47 Grenadier at the top of the steps and shoot the next guy (5th kill). Now you should get this trophy but if you want to be sure the AK-47 also has a grenade launcher attached to it you can use. It’s recommended that you play this chapter on “Recruit” mode. TIP – Akimbo weapons are duel-wielding weapons. You will usually find these on the ground many times, usually in the form of pistols, run around and shoot people with them to get this trophy, It’s recommended to do it on “Recruit” mode for the single-player campaign on “Regular” mode for Special Ops since it’s easier that way.

TIP – A way to get this is available at all times, go into the Alpha Stage of Special Ops and choose “Evasion” on any difficulty (Regular difficulty recommended). When the mission is loaded, walk forward, you notice four guys ahead of you walking towards you, hid in some bushes and wait for them to walk past you, when they walk past you they will keep walking and eventually stop close to where you started the mission, walk behind an enemy without getting spotted and quickly knife him to get this trophy.

TIP – A good place to get this trophy early-on is on the second mission in the single-player campaign, “Team Player”. At the start of the mission you’re told to kill enemies across the river with your grenade launcher. Crouch behind the rocks to stay safe, press your left button to equip the grenade launcher and shoot at the enemies across the river (preferably at the stairs they’re running down to the bank of the river. If you have only one round left for your grenade launcher and you haven’t gotten the trophy, kill yourself and try the process again.

TIP – Simply finish the single-player campaign. It can be done on any difficulty setting, the main story takes about 5-7 hours and can range depending on your difficulty setting.

TIP – Finish the first two missions, “S.S.D.D” and “Team Player” on the veteran difficulty setting, your difficulty can be chosen at the end of the first level and it has to be veteran to count.

TIP – Finish the third mission, “Cliffhanger” on the veteran difficulty setting, your difficulty can be chosen at the end of the first level and it has to be veteran to count.

TIP – Awarded when you finish both the fifth mission “Takedown”, and the seventh mission, “The Hornet’s Nest”, on veteran difficulty, you choose difficulty at the end of the first level.

TIP – Complete both the sixth mission, “Wolverines”, and the eighth mission, “Exodus” on the veteran difficulty setting to get this trophy.

TIP – Complete the ninth and tenth levels, “The only Easy Day… Was Yesterday” and “The Gulag” on the veteran difficulty setting.

TIP – Finish the twelfth mission “Contingency” on the veteran difficulty setting for this trophy.

TIP – Finish missions eleven, thirteen, and fourteen, “Of Their Own Accord”, “Second Sun”, and “Whiskey Hotel” respectively on the veteran difficulty setting.

TIP – Complete mission fifteen, “Loose Ends”, and mission sixteen, “The Enemy of My Enemy” on veteran difficulty.

TIP – Finish mission seventeen, “Just Like Old Times”, and mission eighteen, “Endgame” on the veteran difficulty level.

TIP – You have to finish ten Special Ops missions on veteran difficulty (3 stars each) to acquire this trophy. Friends that know what they’re doing can really help you out with this trophy.

TIP – Get 30 stars through all Special Ops missions, you have to at least get 23 missions done on easy difficulty and 7 missions done on medium difficulty for this trophy.

TIP – Finish fifteen Special Ops missions on veteran difficulty to get this trophy. Do it with a (well-skilled) friend to make it easier on yourselves.

TIP – Luckily you don’t have to go through the game on veteran difficulty to get this trophy, just hardened difficulty is required at least, which isn’t as bad. Keep in mind that you get 9 silver trophies by playing through veteran difficulty though, if you want to get them sooner than later you should just start on veteran difficulty.

TIP – Fairly difficult to say the least, you have to complete every Special Op mission on veteran difficulty, getting three stars in every one to get this trophy. I cannot stress enough how much easier this trophy can be if you play with a well-skilled friend. Whether it be in online multiplayer or split-screen. Here are some easy tricks for the last few Special Ops Missions on veteran difficulty since you will be placed in the middle of hell on those.
