Motorstorm Apocalypse was set to release on April 12 2011, Sony just announced that Motorstorm Apocalypse will be delayed in North America due to the earthquake in Japan. It’s unclear if the delay is due to supply issues, but some early reviews have already hit. Sony could be making the decision to push the game due to sensitivity reasons; after all, it is about an earthquake that makes the California Bay Area into a wasteland. We’ll keep an eye out for a new release date. But in my opinion its great that they decided to push it back that way 2 great Playstation exclusives wont hit stores on the same week. Socom 4 is set to release on April 19 so if you were looking forward to buy Motorstrom, fear not my gamer friend Socom 4 will still hit stores on April 19. For those who haven’t heard the news about the European release date, it has also been pushed back.
This is the PlayStation Store update for North America which occurs every Tuesday, the European Store updates occur every Wednesday.
- Killzone 3 Single-player Demo
- ATV Pure Game & PS+ Game Trial
- Yakuza 4 Demo (PS+)
- MotoGP 10/11 Demo

Sony’s Live press conference has just finished and pretty much the entire thing was Sony showing off the (finally names) PlayStation Move controller. They showed many games and demos in the span of 40 minutes, games like SOCOM 4, LittleBigPlanet, EyePet, fighting games, tabble tennis, and much more in real time on stage. Most games shown were just from Sony but they did say that 36 publishers are confirmed to support the PlayStation Move and there is expected to be 20 games this fiscal year that support the Move.
They also announced that the Move will come in multiple bundles, this includes the bundle with the Move and the PlayStation Eye for “less than” $100. The other bundle they announced was that they will be packaging the Move with the PlayStation 3, which will sell alongside the regular PS3′s without Move’s bundled in the box. A “sub-controller” was also announced which acts as the Wii’s nun-chuck and will have an analogue stick on it which will be used for games like shooters. So what do you guys think of the Move? Is it better than the Wiimote?
