Despite all the hoopla around Titanfall for Xbox One in the media, which is a great game by the way, Sony was able to stay in the headlines by making a big announcement at the 2014 GDC.
Last night Sony unveiled its “Project Morpheus“, which is a Virtual Reality (VR) system for the PlayStation 4 (PS4). I’m sure there are some people groaning “Oh no, not another peripheral or gimmick,” but I truly think that the way Sony is approaching this technology is far better than their previous launches of “Move” motion gaming system for the PS3 and also the effort to push video games to make use of 3D televisions. Both met lukewarm success for different reasons. So it’s safe to say that this attempt to enter the VR frontier is going to be met with huge skepticism from folks who are constant Sony detractors, but it will also face healthy questioning from folks who are pro-Sony.
This week we talk about some games we’ve recently been playing, most notably Tomb Raider! (Which is a great game by the way), we also talk about Grand Theft Auto V and Gran Turismo 6′s “announcement”, and especially the PlayStation 4, have a great weekend and enjoy!

Motorstorm has been one of the best racing games of this generation, of course it did not live up to the high expectations we had when we saw that first teaser back in 2005. It was still a gorgeous looking game I fell in love with it the first time I played it, now it’s back with it’s forth installment (including PSP version) in the series Motorstorm Apocalypse.
Motorstorm has been one of my favorite racing games this generation it’s right up there next to Gran Turismo. After playing Motorstorm Apocalypse for a couple of days I can give you my honest opinion, if I can summarize it in one word it would be disappointment. Sure the graphics look as good as any other Motorstorm but the feel of the game just isn’t there anymore. It try’s to keep it’s identity but it feels like a whole new game it’s like playing Burnout or Need For Speed. I think they have made a terrible mistake taking it away from it’s roots, sure the battle for survival and total mayhem are still there but it just feels different playing it in the city.
The controls don’t feel as responsive as before and even when I play it with the sixaxis which was one of my favorite features. I thinks it’s still a great game buts it’s not for me, I enjoyed the off road feel to this game unforgiving terrain covered in sand, water and mud. I’ve been so disappointed that I probably won’t even rent it.
