Killzone 3 has officially gone gold. That means that the physical copies of the game are being made right now and will soon be shipped to retailers. This game will pick up in the events where Killzone 2 ended where Sgt. Sev and his squad will find themselves outnumbered, from the recent Story trailer, this game is looking pretty good.
The game will have split-screen co-op campaign, PlayStation Move support, 3D support and many more interesting features this time around. The game will release February 22nd in North America and February 25th in Europe and can be bought in the standard or Helghast Edition, either way you buy the game there will also be some pre-order bonuses depending on where you actually buy it. The Pre-order bonuses are after the break:
I must admit, this trailer was sick. It definitely got me more hyped for this game and more importantly for the single player campaign. Not to mention the Move capabilities, multiplayer, and 3D capabilities. Look for this one at the end of February.
You read the title right! It’s reported that 5,000 more PS+ users are getting sent invites to the Killzone 3 Beta but what’s also getting reported is that for the first time ever, these invites are being sent by a message directly to your PSN account inbox with a link attached sending you directly to the PlayStation Store so you can download the beta, much easier than typing in 12-digit codes.
Now you may want to be more aware of what is spam mail and what is not since many PSN users still get that popular spam mail since the copy and paste feature was added. This image shows what to expect from a Killzone 3 Invite like the name of the game for the Username and “Public Beta Access” for the Subject line and a link attachment to the store where the image attachments usually go. Good luck on getting an invite PS+ users!
Above is part1, part 2 is after the break!!
Here’s a real quick video of the alpha code/beta of Killzone 3. Check it..

Check out this gameplay of the Killzone 3 Beta which is supposed to release today for some PlayStation Plus subscribers and some contest winners from a while back, how does it look to you guys? Improvement or not?
On Playstation’s Twitter (@PlayStation) and Killzone’s Twitter (@KillzoneDotCom) there has been the official announcement that the beta for “Killzone 3“,which will be released on October 25th. There has been multiplayer footage circulating on the web and it looks to be more fast paced (because combat isn’t a stand there and wait to get shot at way of war anymore) and more in your face action. Here are what the twitter announcements say:
@KillzoneDotCom: “The Killzone 3 Public Beta will start on the 25th of October. Wanna get in?”
@Playstation: “Killzone 3 Beta is coming 10/25!”
Personally, I don’t think it gets any clearer than that. The only downside to this is that if you are not a “Playstation Plus” member, you won’t be getting in. Sony will put up an XMB theme of Killzone on October 19th. The first 10,000 Playstation Plus subscribers to have downloaded it will get an email with their beta access. Killzone beta will be for non plus members too, but only a hand full (300) that will be given out, so keep a watch on their twitter and on the killzone website.
In the video above, the Official PlayStaton Blog provided a video showing off how the PlayStation Move will be working with the newly released PlayStation Move. This is a rather interesting video, it shows off what the Move can do in first person shooters, and there are a lot of different things shown than just shooting. Killzone 3 releases February 22, 2011!

Here is the Killzone 3 Multiplayer Trailer from Gamescom. This is the first footage of Killzone 3′s multiplayer, and wow does it look great! It looks like they revamped a lot and improved it a big amount. The multiplayer mode adds a lot of new features to its predecessor, creating a fresh multiplayer experience that is more open to everyone. It offers 2 new game modes, a new matchmaking system, vehicles, Brutal Melee attacks and more ranks, abilities and rewards than ever.
Please share your thoughts on this. Will this be the next big multiplayer game? I hope so. Killzone 2 had a great concept, i hope killzone 3 fulfills it.
