The Official Best Of E3 2009

Lots of sites and magazines will tell you what they thought the best stuff at E3 was. Heck, we did! But only one set of awards are the result of the biggest outlets joining forces.
And those are the Game Critics Awards. Voted on by editors from 29 publications, ranging from IGN to GameStop to 1UP to…Kotaku, they’re normally viewed – courtesy of that combined power – as the definitive list of what really stole the show at E3.
The List After The Break.
The Sims 3 Goes Gold for PC and Mac

The Sims 3 is done with development and the game is being put on discs and shipped out to your local game retailer. In just 25 more days (June 2nd) you will be able to go to GameStop and purchase this for your PC and MAC. This is a very interesting game indeed. So much new features that leave the past Sims games in the dust, like one seamless neighborhood and no loading in between selecting homes. Your Sims now aren’t as “retarded” as past games and they can literally take care of themselves, you will see them walking and driving around the neighborhood. This is a truly next-gen game indeed. If you are considering buying this game when it comes out but you don’t know what it has to offer you may want to
Fight Night Round 4 Roster Video
It’s good to see EA comeback with the Fight Night series after their cartoony title Facebreaker flopped. Hard. This time around EA is looking to up the ante and improve on the already stellar gameplay of Fight Night 3 by offering up a robust roster of pugilists including the brutal “Iron” Mike Tyson.
Fans of the Sports genre should definitely be excited to see a legitimate effort being made on EA’s part. Since the NFL exclusivity contract they inked literally eliminatied all competition, they’ve become complacent with the updates to the Madden Football series.

Kotaku writes:
Saturday, New York’s Nate Robinson saluted before taking his first free throws. Seems he was proving his identity to a Call of Duty: World at War player he’d faced earlier this week.
