The time has come, the release date is now official for the PlayStation 4, at the end of Sony’s Gamescom 2013 conference, they announced that the PlayStation 4 will release will be on November 15th in the United States and November 29th in Europe.
That’s November of this year! Good stuff, Europe however has to wait a little bit longer for the PS4 which is a bit disappointing, but at least it’s not months later or into early next year as some people feared!
Andrew House said that over 1 million reservation have been made for the PlayStation 4 already and also restated the pricing of the console, $399 in the U.S., €399 in Europe and £349 in the U.K.
Microsoft has yet to announce a release date for the Xbox One but promises a Novemeber release date, Microsoft has the potential to release their next-gen console up to two weeks before PS4, will they take advantage of that? We shall see!

From tomorrow sony will be reducing the Playstation Vita price to just $199 in america and €199 in most of Europe, Japan have already received there price but a few months back. Sony Europe’s head ceo Jim Ryan also announced Playstation Vita Memory cards have a price reduction to go along with the updated PS Vita price tag.
Sony Europe CEO, Jim Ryan announced Gran Turismo 6 will launch on Playstation 3 before christmas this year on December 6th. The Game will be exclusive to the Playstation 3 system and features some great new concept cars you have never seen before.

At Microsoft’s Gamescom 2013 conference they announced all the games coming to Xbox One which will be available on launch day. There will be 23 games available on the first day the console launches, this doesn’t include mini games, indie games and other content which will be available on the xbox live marketplace. Microsoft held a developer driven conference at Gamescom Germany this morning. The event was only 30 minutes long and didn’t feature a huge amount of xbox One announcements but they did announce some great news for everyone in Europe.
Everyone in Europe that pre-orders an Xbox One will receive a download code for Fifa 14 in the box with the console. From what Microsoft said at the conference this deal will only happen if you pre-order the Xbox One, this wont be available if you buy it after the release date, which is still yet to be confirmed.
This was the week of multiplayer reveals, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Grand Theft Auto Online were shown in great detail this week and the crew talk about it all.
