Call of Duty: Ghosts is Official, Comes with Teaser Trailer
Well what a surprise! The rumors were true! Yes, the next Call of Duty will naturally be releasing this year, named Call of Duty: Ghosts. It will bring the game in a new direction says Infinity Ward, and will sport a new graphics engine (finally) and will supposedly refresh some aspects of the game. The above video is just a teaser and doesn’t show much officially except at the end where it says that we will see more at Microsoft’s next Xbox event on May 21st. That’s where we’ll see the game actually running, mark your calendars!
New Grand Theft Auto V Trailer Shows 4 Minutes of the Three New Characters
A new trailer has released for Grand Theft Auto V which has made me ever more excited at this game. Each character having quite a bit of air time and showing a lot of great content from the game. Michael being a rich older guy that can’t give up his past life of crime, Franklin may get a lot of people excited because it seems as though he may be somewhat involved in Grove Street (look at all the green people are wearing in his trailer!) – reminds me a lot of CJ’s story! Lastly, there’s Trevor, man it’s gonna be hilarious to hear all the comments he makes and the things he will do in the game! Very exciting trailer, give it a look!
New Watch Dogs Trailer Hits the Internet
Watch Dogs has been on most of our lists ever since its surprise unveil at last years E3. It is still impressing us to this day with this new trailer above, enjoy! Watch Dogs is releasing on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on November 19, 2013 in North America and November 22, 2013 in Europe.
Rumor – Call Of Duty: Ghosts Leaked
While I’m filing this one as a rumor, I think by the high-quality box art and the source of the leak; this is a pretty done deal, but here goes.
Earlier today, Tesco, the biggest grocery retailer in the UK; today leaked the box art and title of what is rumored to be the next Call of Duty game.
The listing has (surprisingly) already been taken down but once something touches the internet, it can never go ‘ghost’ again (excuse the pun).
The listing suggested it will be released on current gen consoles only, what do you guys think of the news? Personally I’m a little fatigued with the series but I think I might jump back in next-gen after my break from the franchise.
It’s worth noting that the game is being developed by Infinity Ward, yet it isn’t Modern Warfare 4, however the box art seems to feature Ghost, the character that wore the same mask in Modern Warfare 2. With an official reveal expected on May 1st, we’re sure to know more soon. A gamer on YouTube by the name of “DriftOr” has released a video with information regarding the next title that he said he got from a “very reliable source”, you can see that video after the break.
DICE Absolutely Needs to Make a Co-Op Sniper Game to Revolutionize Co-Op, Here’s Why
There’s a problem with co-op in the gaming industry, we barely see it in use, more importantly, we barely see it ever used in a way that’s actually fun or impressive. This generation we have seen games every now and then implement a co-op in their game, most of the time it has simply been a game where someone can join in your campaign and be your shooting buddy and not really give you much of an advantage in any way, or you will see a game have “tacked-on” co-op that doesn’t relate in any way to the story. The issue is that co-op sucks now, and somebody needs to revive it, because it’s something that could be so incredible.
There are two games this generation in which I truly appreciated co-op, the first one is Rainbow Six Vegas (Also including Vegas 2 into this, they’re both basically one in the same). This was the first game I have personally ever played where co-op was so much fun to me, where it actually seemed to matter. How awesome it was to look under the door with a snake cam, target people in other rooms and then strategies with your co-op friends how you would breech a room, and what doors you would use, or if you would burst through the window with a rappel! Every corner had different possibilities and it was fun! For quite some time, no game’s co-op has ever touched me like the Rainbow Six Vegas series did, that was until Battlefield 3 released…
17 Minutes of Battlefield 4 Gameplay Reveal
Seventeen glorious minutes of Battlefield 4 gameplay has been released and man does it look nice! Sit back and put your best headphones/surround sound on with 1080p and enjoy! It’s a nice one! DICE also released a minute long TV ad that can be seen after the break
Assassin’s Creed III Tyranny Part 2 Out Next Week!
The second part of Assassin’s Creed III’s serial DLC releases next week on PS3/360. At the price of $9.99/£7.99, it feels abit pricey (Although Season Pass members get it free).
Much like the first episode, Connor (typing out that other name is just crazy, and I challenge you to pronounce it!) has a new ability – Power of the Eagle. The new power allows Connor to fly, invisibly, across the map. Naturally, the story continues where part one left off, which now sees Connor re-inhabit Boston.
Will Consoles Exist After the PS4/Xbox 720? | DLBTV
In this video, DLB and his guest, Kyle “US_ARMY”, discuss what they think will happen next… next generation, even if consoles will even exist after next-generation, will the console companies move to service companies like OnLive? See what the guys think in their latest video.
Grand Theft Auto V Gets September Release Date
Yep, it’s now official! Grand Theft Auto V gets slightly delayed from Spring of 2013 to a confirmed release of September 17, 2013 worldwide.
The game is confirmed to launch on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 with no mentions of the PC version and even if there will be a Wii U version, news about those versions of the game are likely to release later down the line.
This is very close to the rumored releases of the next-gen consoles (November), my question is will this release on next-gen consoles, if not, how is this going to affect backwards compatibility if the next-gen consoles have no backwards compatibility, a lot of people will be playing on two consoles for sever months it seems!
Either way, this is exciting news, Grand Theft Auto V is finally in our grasp.
