Apple Announces WWDC 2013 Dates
So as if Microsoft hadn’t dropped a big enough date-bomb today, Apple too wanted in on the game. Apple’s annual World Wide Developers Conference will be held between June 10-14, 2013.
Yeah, I know it’s not gonna be a blockbuster console reveal (or could it?
) but we’re sure to hear about iOS7, along with the next generation OSX. But theres plenty of rumours swirling around that maybe we’ll see the iPhone 5S in June.
Excited? Couldn’t care? Comment!

Samsung Needs To Get Over Bitterness
We all know that Samsung, has been hell bent on going after Apple’s lunch in the smartphone arena, but it’s now on overdrive.
Samsung’s recent volley of ads not only insults Apple, but insults the very people they want to switch over to Samsung’s brand of smartphones. Not wise. If the ads were working the way Samsung wanted them to, the media would be talking about rabid sales of their device… they aren’t. Instead it’s Apple. Its hard enough to shame folks to pull their darn pants up so we can’t see their drawers, do they really think they can shame people to not get an iPhone? Really?

R.I.P. Original ‘Rock Band’ Mobile App. Thanks For The Good Times.
The very popular mobile version of the venerable console hit title of the same moniker, Rock Band, is shutting down at the end of May. EA Mobile recently sent an alert stating their impending drop of support for the game.
“Dear Rockers,
On may 31, Rock Band will no longer be playable on your device. Thanks for rocking out with us!”
Now don’t fret Rock Band fans, EA Mobile seems to be simply shifting its focus onto Rock Band Reloaded. So you can still get your ‘on the go’ Rock Band fetish. Its just that you’ll have to buy a new app, spending at least $4.99 or $9.99 for the HD version, to continue rocking on. Oh, and all those in-game “Music Store” songs you bought to extend the original Rock Band app are dead in the water. Meaning that they will not work with Reloaded. Yeah, we know that sucks.
Will this act may make folks feel hesitant to buy the 2nd generation Rock Band app or invest heavily in add-on content? Only time will tell. But you gotta admit, its a fun game and the original was worth every penny for the joy it brought to the masses on a mobile platform. Lets hope its successor continues that legacy.
So rest in peace original Rock Band. Thanks for the good times.
