The Playstation Vita: Bridging the Gap In a Relationship
The PlayStation Vita was to become Sony’s next generation portable, and like many gamers as myself, I was amazed by the beautiful OLED screen, the console like quality in the games, and the functionality it possessed. I knew that I had to have one, day one, no exceptions. Unlike me, my girlfriend was not a gamer, yet she supported my passion for gaming, and was right alongside me when I lined up at midnight to make my purchase. She never understood the gaming culture, and the power it has on its consumers, still she supported me, and showed an interest in this device that I desired.
Like all relationships, we have our hard times, but we love each other for who we are, and what we enjoy. One thing about our relationship that is very different than most is the fact that she lives back in my hometown in Texas, and I attend the university of Oklahoma, about a 2 and a half hour drive apart. This distance apart has made things extremely difficult at times. The inability to simply drive down the street and pick her up, hold her after an argument, and surprise her with gifts is a struggle that most couples could not endure, yet our love for each other has held us together, along with the help from the Playstation Vita.

Uncharted Games Made into Full Length Films

Sony Not Going Down Without “A Fight”
Geoff Keighley, host of GTTV on spike, has been talking about a huge PS3 exclusive announcement to come this Thursday. He uses such sayings as…
“A huge PlayStation 3 exclusive…”
“…this new game that will definitely be the talk of the Internet…”
“the next great PlayStation 3 exclusive…”
He even said on Twitter: “I was absolutely blown away!”
In the promo for Thursdays show, it says that it is a title from the new developer Superbot Entertainment. Graphics and logos for the company show giant robot like creatures that appear to be in a fighting stance so to speak, also eluding to the speculation that this will be the upcoming “super smash bros” style of game featuring Sony characters.
Finally Sony Playstation has registered the domain name “Playstation All-Stars Battle Royal”. Clearly making us believe that this next title will be a fighting game of some sort.
Sony has clearly attempted to make a step forward in dropping some bombshell news this week, first starting with the new God of War Ascension Trailer, and next a totally new game from an unknown studio.
Finally to add to the speculation, IGN has recently posted an article stating simply “Come to IGN Friday For a Huge PS3 announcement. Now, this very simply could be exclusive footage of the new God of War, exclusive footage of the possibly announced Battle Royal set to be announced on GTTV this Thursday, or will this be another bombshell that Sony is dropping on gamers to show what PS3 is all about? Could it finally be some gameplay of The Last of Us? Possibly a new Kingdom Hearts? Maybe even something other than a game, like a new peripheral, camera, or god knows what at this point.
To sum things up, sources point in the direction that the long awaited PS fighting game is finally coming, and proves that Sony will not go down without a fight already announcing the new God of War, and possibly something else from IGN this Friday.
