Is it already Thursday? Nope, it’s Tuesday. The reason North America is getting their PlayStation Store Update early is because Sony takes a break from work for Thanksgiving too. Anyway on this Thursday’s Tuesday’s update, half-off sale for seven PSN games, including Flower, The Last Guy, and Smash Cars. Six somewhat average PS1 Classics arrive. LittleBigPlanet is now a downloadable for PSP, and the Afrika dynamic theme is here for $2.99. The list of full content can be found after the break.
Snake, Snake? Snake has arrived to the PlayStation Store this week in Europe. The Metal Gear Solid PS One Classic is now available for £7.99/€9.99 and when downloaded you can play it on your PSP or PS3. LittleBigPlanett has a bunch of content also, there is now an Assassins Creed II costume to purchase and Turkey Costume that’s free for a week for your sack. Releasing this week is one of the moth anticipated games of the year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which releases on PS3, 360 and PC on Tuesday in North America and Europe. The Wii and DS will be getting their own versions of Call of Duty 4 aswell, Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Reflex for the Wii and Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Mobilized for the DS. Today in North America, the DJ Hero extended mix pack hits the store today, fo’ shizzle! Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time demo number two is available, this time you are playing as Ratchet. Inferno Pool has also arrived as a new PSN mini-game, for those who don’t know about buying Fat Princess, the demo is out now (but does anybody play that anymore?) and a bunch of other stuff, full details can be found after the break.
This week, North Americans are getting their hands on the first of two demos for Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, you will be playing Clank this week. Be sure to pick up the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves – Eye of Indra Motion Comic for free to find out what happened in the events before Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. Burnout Paradise is also just $15 for a limited time only. Oddworld games are also PS1 Classics and GTA Vice City and Liberty City Stories are now digital for the PSP. One of the biggest games releasing this week is Borderlands for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. There are some other pretty exciting releases besides that though. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is also releasing on the PSP with a classic overhead view like the first few games in the series. Today in North America, QORE Episode 17 has arrived and UNO has finally creeped into the store! North America also gets the Brutal Legend and Need for Speed SHIFT Demo. The PSP section of the store is starting to roll out with some mini content and a ton of downloadable games, possibly as much as Europe (but I wont be the one to count.) This week PSP owners will be getting their fair share of racing games, first MotorStorm: Arctic Edge on Tuesday and Gran Turismo, which releases alongside the PSPgo this Thursday. Owners of the Nintendo DS will also have a nice new release, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days will be on store shelves this Tuesday. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is also releasing on the PS3.
