Playstation 4 Will NOT Block Used Games
Before the Playstation 4 reveal one of the main rumours floating about was that the console will block second hand games. But we have had good news for you, the rumour was wrong the playstation 4 will allow you to play 2nd hand games.
This was confirmed by Shuhei Yoshida, Sony’s head of its first-party Worldwide Studios in an interview with the site Eurogamer. The console will not block used games but will continue in the current fashion of making you pay a fee for online access if the game has already been activated on another console.

Since the PS4 will not block used games…I will certainly arrange to have one shipped to my location at once. However, if the coming Xbox blocks used games… I will block my used dollars.

Doesn’t matter to me. Jack Tretton just announced that games could cost $90-$100.
The PS4 is officially dead to me.

I stand corrected. The article I read was misquoted Mr. Tretton. Apparently games will stay in the current price range.

Yes, that was misquoted (thank God! lol) – Games will be in the $0.99 to $60.00 range, as it is right now
