You may remember an article that was written here at dlb-network.com that was picked up by kotaku, and other gaming publications around the world.  Well it looks like that move racing peripheral will be coming this fall.  It will retail for $39.99 U.S. dollars and will be compatible with Little Big Planet Karting, Gran Turismo 5, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit,BurnOut Paradise, MotorStorm Apocalypse, and more.

Highlighted features include:

  • Precise motion tracking for responsive handling of your vehicle
  • An innovative folding grip design will allow you to switch between racing a sports bike to a high-octane supercar
  • Feel the intense vibration feedback of your vehicle as you trade paint with the competition
  • Experience realistic gameplay action using the race car paddle shifters and motorcycle twist throttle controls

I have lived my life as best I could, not knowing its purpose, but drawn forward like a moth to a distant moon. and here, at last, I discover a strange truth. That I am only a conduit for a message that eludes my understanding. Who are we, who have been so blessed to share our stories like this? To speak across centuries? Maybe you will answer all the questions I have asked. Maybe you will be the one to make all this suffering worth something in the end.

You guys were the first to unveil this back months ago but I haven’t seen SONY go public with it yet. I think they feel stupid the 360 one looks better….and probably feels and controls better too.

im sorry but is it me or does Sony seem to just keep moving backwards. I know for the Wii you can put the WiiMote in a steering wheel which by the way came free with Mario Kart. So, with Sony new and innervating hardware, you have to put your wand in to a Batman looking steering wheel REALLY. sorry guys i had to say it.
