Skype Coming To PS Vita Tomorrow
Sony has announced that Skype will be available to download tomorrow.
T he App will feature voice and video calling that will utilise both the front, and back camera. In addition you will be able to keep the app running in the background whilst playing certain games that don’t disable network setting ( come on Sony, you need to fix this issue quickly ) during gameplay. User will also be able to use Skype credit to call landline numbers. The App will also function using touch controls.
No mention has been made yet as to whether the App allows text messaging or conference calling.

The App is available in the USA Playstation store from today.

I saw an article about this in engadget. u can use skype while playing games. unfortunately it’s only audio calls and video calls while you play.

you won’t be able to use Skype at all with games like uncharted – golden abyss because certain games disable network settings.

AGhhh! Snake-fucking-00 is back!
Skype being on Vita is still meh I can do this on my phone and tablet and rather use my Vita’s (dumb apple logic) internal battery for gaming purposes only. I dare someone try to use Skype on At&t’s 3G steal money network. I can see if it had Sprints unlimited data plan so this isn’t all that.
Sorry but skype video mobile chat is only neat when you’re out and about and want to show somebody something if they’re not right there with you. Not when I’m at home and I can just use my PC with HD 1080P camera. So lets get back to the real thing thats important about this article and thats…..
