Nintendo Network Coming to Wii U

It’s finally coming, the Wii U will feature a full online system called the ‘Nintendo Network.’┬áThe “Nintendo Network,” will cover “competitions and communication among users, as well as the sales of digital content,” Iwata said, for both 3DS and Wii U. Elements, like the “Community” building functionality, have already been implemented in Mario Kart 7.

For the Wii U, the Nintendo Network will support multiple personal user accounts per system, finally ending Nintendo’s insistence on tying software purchases to a single system.

LOL this should be interesting and if its solid this may boost Nintendo back in high graces among the hardcore audience. They have some good titles that would make their online awesome. Super Smash Brothers, Metroid online, Mario Kart Online (would spank the shit out of Mod Nation Racers IMO) imagine a co op Zelda game or co op Super Mario World :D

The Nintendo Network really has some great potential other being similarly named like PlayStation Network ;) I guess for short we can call it NTN. So its LIVE,PSN,and NTN. I’m cool with that now if only we could have cross platform online game play in fighting and FPS games it would be gaming Heaven.

FINALLY, I said to myself the Wii U (and Nintendo) WILL fail if it had no network within the next few years, so this is great news for Nintendo at least.

They could’ve come up with a better name…

    Nintendo Network?
    PlayStation Network?

    hmmm… lol
