Rumor: New Xbox 360 Dashboard
The images do look similar to the dashboard setup for Kinect, but there isn’t direct mention that it’ll solely be for the Kinect interface. Whether this is for Kinect or a special section for the Family Plan of Live isn’t clear at this time. One image looks like it’s designed around the Family controls, but the second image appears to be the normal dashboard with slight changes. This is strictly a rumor until Microsoft makes a direct confirmation.
This looks pretty legit to me, of course there is no mention of when this will be taking place. I would assume it will be announced sometime at Gamescom. It looks mostly to be aesthetic changes however it would assume this would include other features such as the rumored Hulu Support etc. It looks nice too me, and the OS looks (thinner). So hopefully that means it will run smoother with less delay when selecting menus. Thoughts?

There you again, i said never say the word “copy” because its just reminds me of how PS Move is a big rip off Nintendo’s controller period!
The reason they changing the style is to simply integrate the menu for Kinect navigation. Im always confuse how shitfuck judge the 360 for copying on a minor change?? and how the fuck is this even similar to the XMB?? it nowhere fuck even looks like it. Its always Sony that trying so hard to put cross game chat in there, something MS first created ever for a console while PS3 can never figure it out, i mean they cant even do a Party system LOL!

the reason why we say it looks like the XMB because it’s straight across nature, just like the XMB. the only real differences are the big box icons and instead of going down to access the commands, you are going upwards.
i really doubt that Sony can’t figure the party system or cross game chat out, its just a lot of that stuff that is implemented into LIVE is patented and they have to figure out ways around those patents(like they did with custom soundtracks)

Well said Hatmantc, makes sense but fools like fanboys here make it sound like 360 is copying everything Sony? when the fuck Sony is actually trying to play catch with the PSN and even rip off Wii controller’s and say hey we did something revolutionary, ala Apple on facetime! shheeeesh…this the future? really fanboys, i saw that like 3 yrs ago its called Wii!
