KIllzone 3 was immediately shown at the Sony Press Conference today with some gameplay of the main character during a story mission jumping from area to area with the new jet-packs that will be found in the game and after showing some intense gunfights between you and the Helghasts on this platform in the middle of an arctic looking ocean. After showing the gameplay, Guerrilla Games announced that the game will feature full PlayStation Move Support upon release and retouched that you will be able to play the game in 3D. There was also a general release date for the game too, February 2011, which isn’t exactly a long way off either.

imagine playing killzone 3 in 3D 1080p and on a 3D LED TV with 7.1 Bose surround sound while using PSMove. Its virtual reality at its finest.

Agreed. Sony really had a great showing this year. They showed off more third party games than I figured but the reason was all the exclusive content they’re getting for them. The Medal of Honor exclusive gets the cake though. A remastered PS2 MoH game on the very same blu ray disc. Wow, just wow! I hope more games get free games on the PS3 version, since they can store it on the same disc. It’s good to see all that extra space being utilized by third parties and not limiting themselves due to the 360. The next Xbox better not use DVD next time or they’re gonna be screwed. Digital Distribution won’t be viable for another 15-20 years, so the next xbox will need some form of disc drive.

I’m not impressed with the killzone showing. Whoever was playing the game had the cross hairs all over the place and never aimed down the sights which lead me to believe the controls might still be wack, but if it supports move, and move is truley one to one motion control. Then we shouldn’t have any problems. I’m also excited about third party games coming in 3d.

Im sorry but the Missile pod thing he used does remind me of Halo 3′s Covenenant weapons. However, the snowy environments look awesome and almost slipped into writing a bad pun. Admittedly KZ2 did seem to miss the crazy sci fi weapons for MP, please let us have the boltgun this time round off the mark, pretty please Guerilla.

Well all i can say is I hope it is the controls you hate, because they are the only thing you’re winging about. They were good for me and other people who were playing as its own game not as COD/HALO/generic shooter.
