The new Sony Vaio P (P11S1E) ultraportable netbook looks to be the first portable PC to bring PS3 Remote Play to it. As long as you own a PS3 and are running v3.30 firmware you can access PS3 content and recorded programs onto your Vaio P similar to the PSPs remote play. Now some of the specs the Vaio P has makes me wonder if the will be integrate with the PS3 remote play. It   features built-in GPS, digital compass and accelerometer. So now a gentle shake will allow you to ‘flick’ through pictures, while the screen will also auto-rotate when looking to read documents in portrait mode, i wonder if the accelerometer can be used when view PS3 content, why not? Just to let you all know this probably wont support the RemotePlay of actual PSN games like the PSP does, however, i do think RemotePlay in general is a great idea. Your thoughts?

So now, if you want to know all the technical specs about this netbook i have the for you after the break!

Can’t they just release like some kind of software where you can use remote play on any computer? It’s probably not as simple as it seems. But hopefully from now on every Sony hardware should be connected to each other like Apple does with their hardware.

Thats exactly what i was wondering.. It would be awesome. Maybe we can speculate they may do that with whatever PSN Premium service they are working on.

I would definitely love if they’d extend support for this to ANY pc with the right specs. It’s a bit limited in market if only Sony computers can use the feature.

Okay, Sony is late to the party, but I guess it’s “better late then never!”
