Is flash the only reason you think it’s better than the ipad?
Then I think the ipad is better than the slate because it has an apple logo on the back…

well flash has its flaws with apple but the slate has full adobe support if you know any thing about the web and it’s softwaers u would know that its adobe cs4 makes everything from this site to menues on videogames adds videogames as well video editing and more man and if the price is better why not

Yeah this device looks really good as-well. However, what its missing, is that HUGE apple app store, itunes, and all the other connections surrounding the app platform.
However, if this Slate does get a big enough following, cant devs, just post ipad games over to a flash version, voiding the app store?
On a personal note i hope that this slate is advertised right up against the ipad, and is advertised just as much and hard as the ipad. If this is done right i think it could cause some good competition in which the consumer will win. (meaning hopefully if apple loses enough sales to this, they will add flash.)

Why do people not get this… The iPad isn’t a touch-computer..
get with the times.
the iPad is for the people wanting whats in between the home computer and the iphone.. Something simple to read the news on.. check email on and watch movies.. THEY DONT WANT A MINI TOUCH COMPUTER..
