BlindMango The new theme is pretty much done now, we are having problems with thelideshow feature but we will have that up and running in the near future. Are boy silverk9 is also working on a new logo for the dlb-network which again should be up very soon, enjoy.
Tell us what you guys think, but please remember this is not fully finished, clewis.

@MAXVTEC: I’m going say this layout annihilates the old layout and is only rivaled by the E3 layout last year. I will be coming back here more often just because of the new look.

Update 2 – i have removed the forum hyperlink from the top of the page and replaced it with a new looking image in the sidebar to your right, i have also added a image/link for the rss feed and i have fixed the with the register/log-in block.

Well, idk if my opinion matters/counts but i’m gonna give it to ya anyway lol.
1. The yellow box around liked-comments is ugly.
2. Yellow hyperlinks?
3. The Like/Dislike buttons look odd.
4. The side panel is nice.
5. Could it not have waited till it was 100% complete?
6. Black, Black, Black… wheres the #FFFFFF? lol
6. Gradient backgrounds work best for web 2.0 :/
7. The log-in screen is still the same old layout.
Just my thoughts, its merely critical assistance, overall its pretty nice and a large improvement from the old grey look. I know it’s not a finished product but without opinions it can’t be improved.
Maybe abit of flash could improve it more (Java is your god!.. I’m presuming thats what was used for the roll over effect on the links at the top). I do a bit of web design myself and know Java/flash/CSS/HTML very well and know what makes a good site.
Once again, just my opinion.. I’m probably gonna get flamed but oh well.

wow love the new layout!! This is what its all about right here.. sleek look. nice icons and everything clear. Tell this took alot of work and appreciate you guys taking time out of your busy schedules to deliver somthing fresh. If we could can all the effort you guys put in and sell it,youd be making millions haha “CANS OF EFFORT” liking the idea:)
On a side note can you guys make the commenter pictures bigger.. there alittle tiny at the moment

one other thing iv just noticed.. when you reply to a comment that is indented into another comment, there is no info telling you that where your message is going to go. I actually wasn’t sure if the button worked at first because nothing changed.
What I mean is where you click the other reply button it give gives you the href code. Which shouldn’t be displayed really, maybe use java to input the user’s name into the comment e.g.
@Clewis: blah blah blah
rather than
@Clewis: blah blah blah

I like the way the comments were before. They were all on one page and went from oldest to newest. But other than that I like the new layout.

i should think they reason they changed it is to assist in loading times on slower internet connections, especially the posts that had 70+ comments.

just added a forums button at the top now… I agree with the ones who say its too dark here and I told Clewis to try a background color like grey for the sides of the site and he said it looked good and he will put it up soon

well i definably see some positive about it. I agree with those who think its too dark, maybe light grey to white would be better. I sorta liked the old comments set-up better too. Its not a final design, so things can be tweaked.

well DLB said he was working on it since he finally got internet from his moving situation but the whole new theme thing has probably kept him busy. All he has to do is edit it and put it on the internet, can’t say how long that will take though =/

about the same for me, anybody can see this pretty clearly unless in a very high res like you say you are, if you use firefox (and some others sites now do this) if you press ctrl and + you will zoom in and it will stay saved zoomed in for this site.
