New Gran Turismo 5 Scans and Info
This month Issue of Playstation the Official Magazine has some great pics and info for the much anticipated GT5. Some of the features revealed are as follows.
- Deformation for every car in the game although race cars will see even more damage
- First screens of GT5′s night racing
- 1,000+ vehicles, all with modeled interiors
- Up to 16 players online
- Indy cars and tracks will be included
- Head tracking is reconfirmed and it’s for use during racing
- Multi display is back (using 3 PS3′s for a wider view)
- HD uploads to YouTube
- Weather
- Night racing for all tracks
- All cars will have cockpit view (the 170 premium are the ones on which the interior will also damage – the rest only external damage)
- Night & Day cycle and weather effects on all tracks
- Damage (visual and mechanical)

@beans: Don’t be a dick. There’s no way you can say this game is trash. At the VERY least, it may just be a game you’re not interested in. With all the features this game is going to have, how can you say it’s trash? From what I’ve seen it offers more than any other racer out there. Can Forza output to three separate screens or offer head tracking via camera.

this game has lost my expectations already, games announced too early and released too late will have a Killzone 2 sale like treatment. I think Sony should learn how to just announce a game like 1 year and half before release date, like look at Halo Reach no leaks no with little information until release date, then drop a gameplay bomb on events like E3 to keep gamers talking 5 to 6 months before the game release, learn SONY!

Most people that are some what seriouse about competetive racing online tend to use the same vehicles everyone else is using out of fairness. Kind of like nascar. So if your into joining a racing league the only thing you really have to represent your clan or your team are your paint jobs. Also lets keep it real we all know GT5 will have like 10 different versions of the same car and also a bunch of shitty cars as well. I’m just going cross my fingers in hopes for customization.

@blumatt: i played the time trial demo and it was garbage, and those graphics people were hyping were really nothing. Forza has better physics and graphics. Also who brought up forza im talking about GT5 being whack that time trial shit was mad whack based off the demos gt5 isnt even comparable to forza. the time trial demo was stripped down cuz it’s only a limited release , textures were removed to. make the file size small.

@snake-oo: Exactly man. Beans doesn’t know what he’s talking about. That demo was a small file size so it could be downloaded within a decent time. A true demo would’ve needed to be 5-10 gb in size. The demo was just to demonstrate the physics engine, not the graphics; it was also for a competition for whoever gets the best lap time wins a trip to the Indy 500 or, in Europe, to be a real car driver.

There are rumors that the iPhone five wil use qualcom chips which can do each CDMA and GSM networks. Apple often hates product fragmentation. So if they could get a cell phone that would get the job done on both networks, I’m positive they will do it..
