I rather have this headset then the Official PS3 Headset. That thing destroys my ear. I even had to buy the Gelbuds. They only worked for a few months then back to the painful feeling. I hate bluetooth’s that go in the ear. Only reason I still use it is because the sound quality it gives out. I’ll wait for the review and if its good then I’ll buy these. They look and sound very good from what you said and the review’s I read.

There’s one Big Down side to this kind of headphones.
You can’t hear Shit outside of them, and most of the time that is not a good situation.

also downside on these headsets are they are not real surround sound its stereo but it uses a digital signal so its not like the ax pro the high end version this is the middle one
for 40 more bucks u get 8 speakers in each ear

This is a good headset, but its not a real surround sound headset. =( its a simulated 5.1 surround sound headset the trittons axpro is a true dolby 5.1 surround sound headset its just like $20 more for a true surround sound headset 5.1. i dnt own one of this but i know alot about headsets. if you have any questions just msg me or add me chivas1. i know alot of headset because i play with top players in socom, COD4, COD MWF2. i play gbs which is gamebattles.com sign up to compete with top players. i own turtlebeach p21′s which cost me around $90. thep21′s is a stereo headset which is a 2.1 channel not 5.1 channel. this headset are good for soundwhoring in codMw2 which headsets is a big advantage when playing against top players, because most of them have gaming headset. i know alot of people who owns astros a40 which roughly cost around $250 and its a pretty good 5.1 surround sound headset which the MLG pro player use. please if you think on buying headsets msg me on psn my psn is chivas1. i will talk to you on which headset is best for you. i can tell you the advantages on different headsets. =) psn= chivas1

@beans: So, do you think it was OK for Microsoft to patch out support for a cheaper peripheral? (the Datel memory cards for 360) I personally think that was a dick-head move, no matter how you think about it. They eliminated a possible competitor by just patching out support.

I had Tritton AX Pro’s, which are better than AX 720′s because they are true 5.1 surround sound, instead of simulated 5.1. That said, I traded them in for Turtle Beach P21′s (a stereo gaming headset) because the mic kept failing on the AX Pro’s. This also happened to a lot of people that I know. Tritton’s are great for soundwhoring, but what’s the point of paying so much for a headset, if you can’t talk to people?
