Today Sony has introduced their own sort of electronics trade-in program. So if you have that old PS2 or laptop, even camera that you still want to sell, you can now bring it to any sonystyle store, or mail it to sonystyle for a credit. One of the big kickers is that Sony is accepting multiple electronics brands, and they are currently offering special instant savings bonus, ($25-$40) on select trade-ins.

Is it really that difficult of a question? Of course it’s for recycling.

Anyway, I think this is a good way for those waiting to upgrade to the PS3 to have a bit of an incentive to do so by trading in their PS2s.
