i got 1 If Apple were to release a gaming console next generation do you think it be more of a motion controlled system (Wii) or more of a traditionall joystick type of system like the 360/PS3

With the Various Video Game Awards coming to a close how did you guys think Sony did? were you suprised? and do you think that it will do this well next year in terms of Console and Games wise?

1. Have any of you guys played Socom Cold Front, what do you think. I like it they finally fix socom in my opinion, can we you guys thoughts?
2. Also if you went in to the psn store and under utilities and there is an emulator for backwards capability would you buy it? The price would be 19.99.

Hey DLB crew. I’ve been on this site for over a year and a half now and I’ll be a fan as long as this site is here. I’ve read a few rumors that GTA 5 will be a PS3 exclusive. Rockstar apparently wants to make use of the PS3’s guaranteed hard drive (the 360 doesn’t have one in every console.), blu ray, and the superior power of the PS3. Given Microsoft’s exclusive DLC for this GTA, do you guys think 5 COULD be a PS3 exclusive, and, if so, how big do you guys think the game could be? Would Rockstar really give up an entire install base (xbox 360) to make a superior game on the PS3? I personally hope they do because the 360 holds them back alot due to the 3 things I just mentioned. (hard drive, non bluray, less powerful) Thanks guys.

How are all you guys (entire podcast crew) going to be spending your money on the CRAZY amount of games and peripherals coming next year? MAG, Mass Effect 2, Gran Turismo 5, Bioshock 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Heavy Rain, Lost Planet 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Crysis 2, and God of War III, are All due in the first half of 2010. This isn’t without mentioning all the games (announce and unannounced) slated for “fall” 2010 including the next Call of Duty.
Now even after mentioning all of those games, Sony and Microsoft are both releasing Natal, and PS Motion controllers, with games. I don’t know about you guys, but i don’t see how i am going to be able to get most of these titles that i would REALLY like to try. Do i just get PS motion controls, or just get Natal? or do i get both? How are you all going to spend your money?

Hey DLB and crew, merry christmas playas.
Microsoft released the 360 a year before both PS3 and Wii which meant they had a year long advantage in almost every aspect. Do you think Microsoft will use the same strategy as before and which of the future consoles do you believe will come out on top? Knowing that Microsoft will for sure upgrade Xbox Live/Natal/Video marketplace, Sony will have a much better online service now that they know what to do and what not to do, and Nintendo may focus more on console power rather than control scheme as they did with the Wii. What are your thoughts DLB and crew, on the next generation/decade of gaming. Happy 2010 to all!

it is hard 2 do this stuff when u have a kid on the way. I’m goin through hell right now with my wife and she is only 12 weeks with morning sickness and the whole works. So I know what he’s dealin with. Work, family, then games.
