I’m hyped for ME2 but I still think it could have came out this year but they have made a lot of improvements with their extra time so you can’t be mad at that. At least the PC version is being released simultaneously with the 360 version cause waiting a year for ME1 sucked. But this is still my favorite 360/PC exclusive and since it comes out the beginning of the year it will give me time to play it before God Of War 3 comes out.

@cf_dgg22: i still dont see whats so good about that game it looks boring in my opinion, it seems like u are watching more than playing but i hear a lot of people hyping that game up, but q1 2010 is way too full mass effect 2, conviction,bayonetta,bioshock2, god of war 3, too many games its gonna get overlooked

well if your looking to get out of boring turn base and random encounter type of JRPG type then Mass Effect delivers. If you’re saying that Mass Effect is more watching and playing then OBVIOUSLY you haven’t played the first one. You get dialogues with good voice acting and depending on your answer or choices is how you are going to progress or change the game. Action? now don’t fucking tell me it has less action!…your talking about a 3rd person shooter combine with Bioware’s rpg formula and looks like they have added and perfected it on this 2nd installment. If your talking about a game that has more to watch then play, go play Metal Gear 4 or wait for Heavy Rain…cuz it’s being concerned by game journalist due to “just sit back and enjoy the show” kind of gameplay.
I love Bioware and they’re the only company who is up to par with japanese rpgs,

@cf_dgg22: You can get mass effect on Bioware’s site right now for $20 on the PC or if you have a 360 you could still get it cheap and it’s definitely worth it. I would get both if I was you or just try the first one to see if you like it but you don’t need to play the first one to get the 2nd one. Just watch the ign video if you want to catch up on the whole story in just 5 minutes.
@beans: You can’t judge a book by it’s cover. If you like RPGs and action with a great story then chances are you will like mass effect and nothing about it will be “boring” about it. And I guarantee you right now that Mass Effect 2 will NOT get overlooked for 2 reasons: 1. The first game is still claimed as one of the best 360 exclusives ever. 2. It comes out in January so it gets the first BIG step on it’s competition. Besides GOWIII I think some of the games in your list are going to get overlooked.

Who cares about Mass Effect… This game is even made in my city, witch is in alberta canada, but fuck em’ cuz they only develop for the Xbox. But i hurd Mass Effect 1 & 2 are comin to da tray(3) anyway.

To be honest it’s going to struggle no matter when it’s released, even if there’s no games for months.
That doesn’t mean it won’t be a wonderful, masterful experience. But most people who play videogames just say “DOEZ IT HAVE GUNS? CAN YOU SHOOT PEOPLE IN IT? no?! wHY WOULD i buy that it looks BORING!”

See, there was this guy name own-all_lol that used to basically spam the site by doing just what I said. He would comment three or four times right in a row just to be top commenter and he got a LOT of flak for it. It’s good to have you on here; this community keeps growing all the time. I just don’t want you to catch any heat for doing what own-all_lol used to do. That’s good you have all three. They all have their strengths (and weaknesses).
