The Xbox Live Marketplace has a great deal that you may not want to pass up today, you will be able to get the five DLC add-on packs for 50% off, instead of paying 800 Microsoft Points, you will only have to pay 400 Microsoft Points for each of these. Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta are all part of this deal, so if you’re interested, hurry! This only lasts a day!

Broken Steel is the main DLC you would want to buy because it raises the level cap to 30, allows you to continue after ending the game and play new missions with new weapons. Point Lookout is good also but the rest of the DLC doesn’t really need a purchase in my opinion. The only problem I’ve encountered with the DLC is some freezing bugs every now and then.

Fallout 3 looks like a good game, but I’ve never bothered with it. I almost got it when I first got my ps3. I think I picked up CoD4 instead. I think for me that was a better choice. That being said, this seems to be a pretty good deal.

Dragon Age is good but not great on console because the game is obviously meant for the mouse and keyboard, but Bioware did great in setting up the controls for the console.
If you love the combat system of FF12, which i dearly love Square for jumping to the water to try something new then this game is definitely for you and if your a fan of Baldur’s Gate and Never Winter Nights.
And yeah Bethesda kinda did a copy and paste of Oblivion on making Fallout 3, Oblivion is a bad RPG for having a senseless combat system, hacking periodically with a sword in a fist person view is a big ??? its like hack block hack block hack….if you don’t have a good combat system in a RPG game then the game completely half failed! Bioware rule western RPG and cant wait for Mass Effect 2!
Bethesda should try playing Fallout 2 and learn from making an innovative RPG, in order for you RPG game to work to compete with giant rpg developers you needs to step up and bring something NEW to the plate!

Fallout 3 was a great game, but the setting was just so deppressing for me that I couldn’t get into the game. I also hate the point system on the xbox market, if your going to sell me something talk to me in dollars not points. But, good looking in dropping the price, this could be a great late gift for fans of the game.

Sorry for the double post
@blingbling
why did you get it on the ps3, don’t you know that 90% of multiplatform games are better on the 360. Unless a preview states a game is first being developed on the ps3, you get it for 360. I usually only play exclusives on my ps3 with some exceptions like tekken 6.

@Sly:
In my personal experience, I’ve never seen any REAL differences between games on different platforms. The only actual differences are only those that you would notice when looking extremely closely after being informed of those differences. For example, Residesnt Evil 5 was considered to be much better on the 360 than the PS3, when the only major difference was that there was a shadow cast by the character’s microphone on the 360 version, and there wasn’t one on the PS3.
My point is that, with such negligible differences on 90% of multiplatform games (there are those with more noticable differences, but are uncommon), you should decide to get a game on a certain system for other reasons; trophy/achievement count or friends you want to play with.

Fallout 3 is great single player game. But as for story, narrative and characters Mass Effect stands the most. I love Fallout 3 ’cause it gave a me sense of solitude and free will. Looting, killing and making bad or good choices not caring what the outcome will be. It has boring moments, but there are a lot of worse RPG’s out there. I have the regular version for the ps3. So I guess lv. 20 will be my cap and that will be it. No broken steel for me ’cause I thing for 10 euros it’s quite pricey. I can buy a used game for 15.

I totally missed the point of your last statement. Ofcourse 90% of multiplats suck, becuase there are millions of multiplat games. That doesn’t mean you should miss out on good multiplat games, but to each his own.
@Damonthemaoney
I wasn’t only refering to graphics. I meant the product as a whole. For example, usually multiplats that are developed first on the 360 don’t only look better on the 360 but also have quicker loading, less probabilty of online being broken, dlc offered only for 360 if not before the ps3 counter part etc. All these reasons and more, are good reasons why people should buy multiplats on the system they are developed first. You just assume I was talking only about how the game looks. But, you can’t really expect me to sit here and list all the features or details the makes a difference.
