Yes PlayStation network has finally added the first batch of Premium Avatars to the PlayStation store, these avatars are from the game LittleBigPlanet and there is 14 available for £0.20 each, Which is a very small price to pay but they should really be free, but o well. The Name of the avatars are, Sackboy Avatar, Craft Earth Avatar, My Moon Avatar, Sky Avatar, Arrr! Avatar, Marvin Avatar, Gloria Avatar, Great Blue Avatar, Frost-E Avatar, Hugo Avatar, Lily Pad Avatar, Christmas Tree Avatar, Santa Avatar and the Giftboy Avatar. This update will be for both North America and Europe.

Am I missing something cause I can’t find any of these premium avatars anywhere in the EU store. Unless it’s coming out later today. I just want to see how they look like compared to regular avatars.

This looks pretty cool, although I agree that they should be free. Of course, I’m pretty sure you have to buy stuff for your avatars on Live too. Correct me if I’m wrong… (I really don’t know.)

They are in the EU store now but I don’t see any reason why you would want to pay for these unless you absolutely love LBP. I’m sure better ones are on the way but for now I’ll keep my regular avatars.

I just think you’re over thinking the entire situation; people don’t tend to judge based from micro-transactions. And then of course we come back to the element that there’s no requirement for you to buy one, so any angry complaints are pretty frivolous.
