PS3 has to win platform of the year, it had the best exclusive lineup and the slim. Next year though i gotta go with the XBox360.

@BlindMango: Thanks man I was thinking about my favorite games and since I play San Andreas so much I wonder why I didn’t have a avatar for it so I made it happen.
Back on the podcast I’m glad the PS3 won platform of the year because I think they tried the hardest this year than ever. Like Sliverk9 I was having a gaming conversion with a friend and I could not think about any hot 360 games this year(I’m glad I’m not the only one). I’m not being being a fanboy or ignorant but I couldn’t think of any 360 exclusives that had the same impact this year as they did in previous years.

At least DLB feels the same way I feel about MW2 lowering the sales of Uncharted 2.
I just knew that would happen. That’s why I was not happy about the Uncharted 2 release date.

U say the ps3 controller shouldn’t need trigger add on’s. Well the 360 controller shouldn’t need battery packs that cost I think $20 with the charge cable or replace AA batteries all the time, trigger add on’s only cost a couple bucks. 360 controller has better design but ps3 controller is better quality.

I hate the triggers on both controllers, I wish they could be replaced by buttons like the good old days. I prefer using the PS3 for shooters because that way I can use an actual button, which is far more comfortable IMO.
And I was thinking the exact same thing Rocc-Monsta.

i dont kno about download only. i like having my hard copy, i like midnight releases, i like the little bonuses diff stores offer if u buy the game at thier store. i dont like the idea of streaming the games right now because if my conection goes down i cant even game. but by the time we see a new system (at least 5 years) internet connectivity will b faster cheaper and more reliable im sure.
the only other thing is i thing theres a pretty strong connection between retail stores and consoles. there will b a few companies going out of business if that happens. and what about the companies that make the discs. theres a lot to loose there.
def a money saver for consumers and for sony, micro, nintendo. it will b a hard change to make, but im sure id get used to it, maybe even like it better
