Modern Warfare 2 Trophy & Achievement Guides

Where has Mango been over the past week or so, why has he not been posting much news. Well Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has released a week ago and when I was not playing that I was working on a trophy and achievement guide for you guys. I hope you find the tips helpful, I hope you’ve been having fun playing Modern Warfare 2 also, I sure have! The links to the trophy and achievement guides can be found below.

is it just me or are trophy more appealing than achievements? I have had almost zero incentive to get achievements on my 360, but i still like to go for trophies on my ps3. Idk what it is.

Blingo, seriously well done on these trophy guides man. I (among many others, I’m sure) really appreciate it.
But I’m still not fussed about getting MW2 to be honest, I played it on my friends 360 for a couple of hours and I got bored of it pretty quickly. But that’s just me, I can see why it’s a contender for GOTY though.

The PlayStation Blog has just confirmed that the PS3 will receive Facebook compatibility, with the same features as it will have on the 360 with the trophy integration, current game info and store purchase info.
I’m don’t really care for this myself, but I know there’s a lot of you out there that are interested in it.

@Brown856: Agreed. Sony should offer some tangible incentives to get trophies. (e.g., PSN wallet money, demos, beta keys, etc.) Then everyone would be trophy whores. lol I’d try to platinum a few games to a get an early demo of GT5, Heavy Rain, etc. Wouldn’t y’all?

Supposedly, Sony use trophies as a way of determining who to send beta keys to. You know what I mean, so a higher trophy count means you must spend more time on your PS3, so Sony will want to give the beta codes to people who spend the most time on their PS3s.
I have a lot of trophies (around 750 now
lol) and I get invited into almost every beta I hear about now. But that could easily be a coincidence.
As I said, it may or may not be true, but it sounds like it could makes sense.

Well D-Money you laid it out pretty good right there. That might be the reason I don’t have any beta keys set to me lol. Because i’m not a trophy whore lol. I just like to play the game and i’ll take what is givin along the way.

@BeastModeYM420: Yeah, I hardly ever get into a beta and I don’t have but maybe <100 trophies. I guess Damon's right about that. It would be nice if they'd give us some free PSN wallet money though. Right? lol

Well, I don’t have but 75 trophies. I guess that’s why I don’t get any beta invites. lol I wish they’d give us real PSN money for trophies though. That would be awesome as hell. I’d say they should give us $5 for every 100 trophies we get. People would be racking up, then.

Yes this would definitely help with sales and marketing. If they gave people 1 dollar in PSN store credit for finish a whole games trophies then it would have mad people flocking to it and more partners on the other end helping SONY.

honestly adding a new platform of awards is a whole lot more crap for me right now, perhaps later. If steam achievements are the same as trophies or 360 achievements then look at those tips, they should help.
