Grand Theft Auto IV’s Episodes from Liberty City is releasing on disc for the Xbox 360 tomorrow (contains The Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony on two discs). Some who managed to get it early took a look inside the instruction manual to see a very interesting advertisement made by Rockstar Games. It reads, “Liberty City It’s Over!” then it says “Next Stop” and gives a small photo of what some people believe to be a mountain (black shape) and a beach (yellow area). Then, it says “Opens March Everywhere” at the bottom, perhaps that date is a release date for the next game or when we will get details for the next game. Theatre Seagull seems to be written at the bottom right-hand corner, which is most likely just part of the theme of the advertisement.
UPDATE: People around the internet say Theatre Seagull is located in the London area upon further investigation, or by using Google, i found out that the Seagull Theatre is actually in Lowestoft, Suffolk, UK, WHICH is close to the ocean and has BEACHES! Lowestoft is, in fact, very close to London too, GTA London all over again?
UPDATE 2: There’s now word going around that the tear at the bottom-right of the photo is shaped like the north-western portion of France, now it’s either the London Area or France area that are highly possible from the clues given.

Q: Since this is coming on CD Form do i need the original CD of GTA4 to play it
or is this just a CD to download to the 360 then run off of the Hard drive

That dude in the bottom left hand corner looks like the guy from the Monopoly board, and that topped with “Theatre Seagull” makes this an obvious point in the direction of London. They’ve set it in London before, so it’s certainly not an impossibility.

i live in London, and have been to Lowestoft (for their world famous annual Airshow) and it is NOT close to London lol.. at least 3-4 hours away, London is literally in the middle of England, how Lowestoft (which is close to the sea) be close to London?..
Obviously 3-4 hours is not that far for Americans coz some of your states r bigger than England, but still, its a long way for us
Oh, and Lowestoft is not a shit hole, its just full of old people who talk funny and dont really do much… seriously, its probably 1 of the quietest places in the UK, with bare any crimes committed. To me, it seems an odd place to hold a GTA.

Sorry for double post, but tbh i dont care about double posting or getting hated, aint like iv ever been in the top 5.. but anyways
Looking through it all for clues, it still hasnt convinced me thats its coming to lowestoft. It seems a very odd place to stage a game of its kind, esspecially of its reputation, and mark my words, if it was held their every single person living there would file complains.
GTA London is possible, and it seem more likely than lowestoft… however nothing really says it clearly. March is wayy to close for the game to drop, and a stupidly crowded time. The monopoly guy is strange being based around london… can anyone tell me what the speech bubble says? all i can see it “What What” which just reminds me of this:

Looks like GTA London which which will span out to the east coast of suffolk. Promising, but im still hoping for a huge open world experience similar to SA. Make the whole of the UK a playable map with all the gaps filled in which SA already had covered on the PS2 (planes, buying property, more character customization and basically a use for all the money you inevitably acquire throughout the story) and you have the ‘game of this generation’ IMO. We need a next-gen SA already!

Shit I think the PS3 thing is true myself from what i’ve been reading and hearing. GTA5 will be sick as hell on PS3 only. Rockstart said they didn’t have all the room on shitbox to do what they wanted with the other GTA’s so i’m hoping that’s true.

Actually, I think you’re mistaken. I don’t think it’s about money for most developers. If it was then how would you explain all the exclusives for PS3, 360 & PC?
I know that, if I were a developer and I cared about my job and what I was doing, I’d want to be able to create the best game I possibly could, and if that means working on an exclusive game then I’d be all for it. Sales wouldn’t matter that much to me.

I, personally, am hoping for a San Andreas remake exclusively to PS3 with an even bigger map (the one on PS2 was huge anyway, but bigger is better in this case) and an even bigger mountain. The mountain was my favorite part. It took like 5 minutes to get up the damn thing and then it was sweet jumping off with a car, skydiving, or I sometimes used a cheat code to get a… I think it was a raft or something…and jump off in that.

i think that like San Andreas, it will have several areas in the southeast UK. I think it may contain London, Lowestoft, and some other areas.

Well either way it goes Rockstar did say they wanted to do a GTA for PS3 only. I really don’t give a fuck as long as its coming to the PS3. Oh yea BluMatt, I’ve done everthing u said plus some lol. So yea in my pov they should remaster San Andreas on PS3. It would sell crazy I know it.

I think making the next GTA a PS3 exclusive would REALLY show what GTA should be like by NOT having to “dumb it down” so it could be played on the CRAPBOX. It would also be the kick in the nuts that Microsoft deserves. Imagine how many more PS3’s would be sold if it was an exclusive. You’d have Crapbox gamers jumping ship like Microsoft was the damn Titanic!

Don’t just put Vice City and San Andreas on one Blu-Ray but put both of those ALONG WITH Liberty City on one Blu-Ray. Just imagine…being able to fly from Francis International in Liberty City and land in Las Venturas and then drive to Vice City…with NO LOAD TIMES AT ALL. Online would be insane! It could be called “GTA World” or something like that.
Since the Blu-Ray is currently capable of handling 50Gb of data (with Panasonic and Pioneer in the process of making discs in EXCESS of 400Gb!) this is certainly a possibility…and ONLY Blu-Ray could make this possible. Something like this would make the XBox community absolute PUKE with jealousy! Sony and R* would make a fucking KILLING with this type of venture!
