DLB-Network Hands-On Eyepet
So Now onto eyepet, which i think is the best game i got my hands-on at playstation house. I got i demo from a sony dev showing off everything you can do in eyepet for around 30 mins and after that i got hands-on with the game.
First off we will be talking about what you can do in the game, well you can customize your pet by changing it’s hair style, colour and change it’s clothes. You can play around with you pet by bringing in a mini trampoline and moving it around with the eyepet card which the camera detects, there is also some mini games you can do like bowling, fishing and tennis which is demoed in the video at the bottom of this post. You can also draw objects like cars, planes, bikes ect and then place them up to the screen and the pet will draw it and it will come to life this is also in the video.
Now Graphics, the graphics are good for the type of game you are playing there is a lot of detail in the pet but in the background is what your camera is filming. so you cant say much on the graphics, the user interface is really easy to use just click start and it will open the in game menu and you can access everything you can do in the game.
So You are asking what is the aim of the game ? well it is simple just keep your pet health and happy, to do this you play games with him, feed him and wash him with all the ability’s in the game, you can also make him un happy by kicking him and not washing him, feeding him the only problem with it is your pet can never die so if you don’t feed him he will just look un happy and will try to ignore you, also if you don’t wash him fly’s will just start to gather around your pet.

hehe it’s so cute! Looks like it could be something pretty fun actually.
People underestimate the PS Eye, from what it does here and other things I’ve seen it do (like facial mapping onto characters at one of Sony’s booths) it seems to me just as sophisticated as the Natal camera.

That lil guy looks kool man. I’ve gotta get this for the kids. My girls will really love this, just because you have to make it happy. It’s like the sims with PS EYE.
@D-Money: Yo the facial mapping is done on Face Breaker also. I made a person on there and he looked JUST LIKE ME. It’s the same on RBSV2. But the whole detail of the face is a lot better on Face Breaker.

While that is cool, I didn’t mean that. In one of Sony’s booths back along they were showing real time mapping of your facial movements onto another character’s face. So for example you could control Nathan Drake’s facial expressions in real time with the PS Eye (they didn’t show that exactly). I don’t know what it’s called, but it was badass.

I never actually saw a video of it, I read an article about some guy’s opinions of it on Kotaku, there were a couple of pictures of it but no video. It’s odd that we never see videos or official talk about these big things, like 3D games, it’s quite annoying really. But it does exist as far as I know.

interesting isn’t the word for it that is AMAZIN.to be able to play with a pet you don’t have to clean up after, just turn the program off is great.hope it comes out soon and not that expensive.
