TGS 09: LittleBigPlanet Motion Controller Demo for PS3
Main demo starts at 30 seconds. These types of controls seem better than the Resident Evil 5 Demo we saw, they would definitely be fun with a friend, what do you guys think?

its stupid that you cant play by yourself with this. well maybe you can in create mode or this is just a different way of playing it. hopefully you can though.

this is an example of the motion control done right, you could easily do this with 1 person , or even with 1 hand, all the controller would need is a d pad/analoge and 2 buttons, 1 to jump and 1 grab and 1 to grab with the motion controller. or with the controller to grab stuff like in the vid and the duelshock in the other hand, just use the Left analoge to move and L1 and L2 to jump and grab, cant wait to try this.

motion control on a side-scroller, that’s blaspheme!!!
at least level design will be easier.
if they do make motion control levels they need to somehow let people who don’t have a friend or controller play them.

So this vid confirms my concerns from the RE5 vid.
Seems that the SOMO can’t be used to move characters, so for hardcore games to use SOMO a duelshock 3 will have to be used with it.
EPIC FAIL!!!!!
