XBOX 360 Games Arrive On The Marketplace For The Testers
Today I switched on my XBOX 360, and was prompted with an update for the update beta testers(yeah i got accepted in the program). So clicked on install and unbelievably it took 35 minutes to download and install(yeah keep thinking its only the ps3 takes time) but thats not what i”m here for.
Well after the update installed, i found you can now purchase original Xbox 360 titles in the new games on demand section of the store. When I took a look at the games on offer, I was disapointed that the uk only got 6 titles. Titles on offer were OBLIVION, MASS EFFECT, VIVA PINATA, CALL OF DUTY 2, NEED FOR SPEED CARBON, and ASSASIN’S CREED. Now to me i was excited that i could download OBLIVION, that is until I saw the price Tag of £20, and not just that game, all of them on offer. WTF is that all about, does microsoft think i will be high or drunk when I go in the games on demand store. You can pick these games up for less than £10 in the used games section of many stores and at many places brand new, go check out play.com for some of them titles. OK maybe someone will pay for MASS EFFECT, but which idiot is going to pay for NEED FOR SPEED CARBON at that price.
Microsoft seriously needs to reconsider this price tag before the update is officially available , what do they think we are, FUCKING STUPID.

@Sly snake is pro Sony which is what the rest of the DLB crew used to be before they decided to get all wishy washy and bring in the 360 crowd so the site could grow. It’s ok if Sony has it’s fans the new DLB network certainly has a couple of Xbots posting articles and blabbing on the podcast. If you are asking for “everyone else express their opinion” then certainly you shouldn’t have a problem with Snake posting his opinion on the subject.

Well snake-oo is saying his opinion and i would get kinda pissed to if i had a 360 where the games are over priced sort of like how when the PS# trophies came out and only one game had it for a long time…

Good to see you posting more Snake!! And I’m glad SOMEBODY is sticking strong with Sony, DLB and the others seem to be kissing Microsoft’s ass and just being downright harsh and unreasonable to Sony.

I’m not hating. Simply put if you are posting news on a specific product, you are suppose to focus on that product alone. Why is there a need to mention ps3 when clearly what is being reviewed is xbox games on demand. This goes for anyone who is pro xbox or sony, if your reporting any kind of news you should stay focused on the article, state the facts, and not sneak in any cheap blows to competition with irrelavent information. If your trying to be a game journalist you should try to be a journalist first.

That’s the kind of thinking that’s suppressing society and that will eventually curb humanity into nothing but facts and health and safety rules.
