This has so much potential! Imagine some GoW DLC in this one, power-ups like Poseidon’s Rage and Army of Hades. There could be different weapon-sets and all that. ^^
I hope they make the level editor massive, underwater tunnels, jumps, perhaps boosts. Even some cool stuff like racing through a waterfall or something.. From what I’ve seen it looks cool, but not as cool as it could be.. Like I said, this has so much potential.

All they have to tell me is that there will be banana peel DLC and I will be buying this game day one. Oh what the heck….this is a day one buy any way. I loved the presentations so far. I can’t wait to see some tracks people make.

The whole banana peel idea sounds great to me too BUT that falls dangerously close to a legal disagreement with Nintendo. I’m no expert, but that could cause a lawsuit, as there’s no way for Sony to say they didn’t see it on Mario Kart before using it for their game. Once again, I’m no expert. Great idea tho.

Yeah that’s probably true. Maybe they’ll add a DLC pack where players can adapt certain elements or put them into their vehicles.
If you seen the cartoon Avatar, you’ll get where I’m going with this. Basically you can use natural elements to boost the abilities of your vehicle.
Some car might have the ability to squirt water out and it freezes into slippery puddles behind them. Other cars may be able to use fire to melt the track resulting in their opponents getting stuck to that part of the track for a while. Another car would be able to release rolling balls of dirt that knock opponents off the track. The last car would be able to use huge blowers to push their opponents off the track, into objects, or perhaps even spin their opponents in circles for a few seconds.
Hmmm…maybe I’ve been thinking about this game way too much.

Yea, ever since seeing this at E3 (on the net), I’ve been thinking bout it too. I forgot if this was a PSN game or disc-based. It looks to be hella fun!

I really want to see this game disc based. I’m not really a fan of digital content othere than dlc. This game really needs in game music though.

I like your idea, it would add alot of action to the game if you can attack without picking up a power-up (if that is what you meant), but I personally don’t think they should be as powerful as you describe. Maybe ice makes you lose control for a second, and the fire-and-melt slows you down just a notch. Or perhaps having the option when you create a level and set how powerful they (and all other power-ups) are..
Alternatively having some kind of meter that fills up when powersliding and damaging other racers, and when it’s filled up, you can release it. But then it would be sweet if you can also combine it (for another effect but just as good) with another power-up.
Gotta say that I’m thinking of this game all the time, I absolutely loved the old Mario Kart-games so I’m very thrilled about this.

Honestly after a while LBP had me dissapointed but this game actually looks like it has longevity and VERY SIMPLE(racing) and making racing tracks involves less work then making a GOOD(I emphasize on the good) LBP level.
I’m really excited for this game because it looks simple and much more “pick up and play” friendly…
I still have people come over and they somehow find LBP controls somehwhat complicated and have that gay learning curve where i gotta take them to the first level lol and they have to get used to it and everything like that!
