Looks pretty good and all, I can’t wait for it! But do I have to stand up every time I want to play it? (I know it sounds lazy, but DLB was talking about laziness on the podcast lastweek)

I think I’ll pass on this one. I’m not much for all the music games. They are just too expensive to start with and I have more fun playing SingStar or Buzz. Now if somebody gives it to me as a present, I’m not going to leave it sitting in the box.

I think that was a smart move of them bringing their game to the BET awards. Just like Microsoft brought Project Natal to that show.

I’m not saying it wasn’t smart marketing. What I am saying is that this game is intimidating to many people who have casual taste in music especially considering the rumored price.
Mixing is hard stuff. It looks cool but not everybody is really interested. I can see the mass appeal for Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but I don’t think this game will do that well…EVEN with the artists attached to it.
Look at 50 Cent’s game. It didn’t sell overwhelming number just because his name was on it. I think we’ll see this game do well but it won’t touch GH / RB numbers for a while.
Maybe it just looks too confusing. Even that dude by the sign looks confused!
