Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Movie in the Works

Many of you knew it was coming, in fact, it has been widely talked about on the internet over the past week. The CEO of Naughty Dog dropped by the official PlayStation Blog and confirmed Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will be coming to the big screen. Columbia Studios (which is obviously owned by Sony) will be working on the film and will be produced byAvi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner. Let’s hope this will be a movie masterpiece and not a complete failure. But there’s no excuse for it to be a failure because they already have a great plot to work with – the game.

This will be fantastic (hopefully)! Like you said Blingo, there’s already a great storyline, so they (almost) can’t go wrong. Hell if they strung together the cutscenes I’d be happy, well reasonably.

lol. Yeh, all of the characters in Uncharted were based off of their voice actors.
Those actors were asked in an interview who should play Nathan Drake if there was an Uncharted movie (they would’ve known there’s a movie at that point). They all said Nolan North (the voice actor for Drake) so I think, and hope, it’ll be him.

Yea we always said they should of done a movie based on this game. Our wish has came true lol. The actor of Drake should be arnold swartzen-whatever lol.. haha jk.. Idk but they better pick someone good.
