First off, be sure to pick up the next Game Informer issue seen above for a cover story with many new features for the upcoming, Modern Warfare 2. The levels in Modern Warfare 2 will include  Rio De Janeiro, a level in Siberia, a level on an oil tanker, and a stealth-based oil pipeline level where players will be undersea in scuba gear. Swimming will be a new gameplay mechanic. Vehicles such as trucks, tanks, and helicopters will be featured and even possible controllable. Finally, Ken Lally (Wesker from Resident Evil 5) will be one of the voice actors appearing in the game. Be sure to check out TNT on May 24th for an exclusive gameplay trailer (which will obviously be on the internet soon after if you miss it)

i heard about modern warfare 2 being covered exclusively in game informer…i’m sure the game is gonna be good, but i think it’s going to just like the first iteration…hopefully IW makes a jump in terms of innovation to the next level for the sequel…only time will tell though…interested in seeing more of this fo sho!!

ughh.. I hope not either, the only war games where vehicles were actually good were Halo and Warhawk… but not Call of Duty.

Don’t forget about the battlefield series. The vehicles in those games rocked.

I’m more excited about M.A.G. than MW2. Don’t get me wrong MW was a very addicting game, however, I’m burnt out on FPS right now.

In any event, I’m sure this game will sell well, and continue to be addictive.

Looking forward to MAG more, but I’ll still get it for the sake of it.

If they can do the vehicles like Warhawk, then I’ll be happy. Otherwise..

    @ JayPizzle

Yeah, you’re right, but M.A.G. is a tactical FPS. Meaning, you can become a squad leader, platoon leader, and eventually, a battalion commander. As a leader you can issue out orders and talk to other leader and call in an air strike, subordinates cannot do this.

Also, this is a large scale battle FPS. But, thanks any way.

bigger maps will kill the fast paced style modern warefare (and the cod series) is known for…i didn’t really care for the vehicles in world at war…hope they don’t include them in the next installment…
