    Marvel vs Capcom 2 wooohooo.

Everyone better get this, best fighting game. Its almost impossible to get it any more, unless you do what I did, and pay $100+ for a copy. This is a deal, even if they didn’t add anything new.

Its retarded because it seems like you have to play with someone else. Locally, like someone has to be on the second controller.

If someone finds a way to get around this let me know, but so far this seems like the only way to play….lame.

I just played the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 demo and I have to say I wasn’t impressed. The gameplay feels just like the arcade but the graphics didn’t look improved at all. After playing SFIIHD and looking at those graphics then looking at Marvel vs. Capcom 2 I’m saying Capcom is only doing this for the money. I know graphics aren’t everything and this is a demo but saying Marvel vs. Capcom 2 has “HD support” is a lie (it looks like it came out on PS1). Capcom spent way more time in making SFIIHD and it shows so in my opinion I don’t think Marvel vs Capcom 2 is going to be worth the money.

    @ Moe

The only way to play the demo is to have a second controller hooked up to the PS3. Reassigning the controller slot for the 1st controller isn’t going to work (I know because I tried).

    @Superballa

I was saying you have to have 2 controllers.

Now as far as you saying its not worth the money, you are smoking crack. It has online, the graphics is only a tad bit better. My point is, its considered the best fighter and still as of today is priced at $100 – $200. Now you can get it for around $15. Not worth the money? are you crazy.

You get the same game with online now, and the price is WAYY lower. Sounds like its worth it to me.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 to me was a great arcade game but as it being a PSN game it just doesn’t live up to the standards. If you are going to put a old game on current gen systems you gotta do it right not just rush it half way so you can get some quick cash. It’s perhaps considered ONE of the best fighters but for $15 it doesn’t seem worth it. The only reason why it is priced at $100- $200 is because Capcom didn’t make those many copies and it’s considered to be a rare collectible item. Even if it was priced at $5.99 I would still have a hard time trying to buy it. Overall as a PSN game SFIIHD is still better.

yeah i will definitely get MvsC2 when it hits the PSN this summer but i have to agree…that demo stunk. no single player is just retarded. just plain poo. only way to play demo is 2 player local. just….poooo pooo. then 360 gets bionic commando demo. im sure as hell believe that is better than what we got. this exclusive demo piece of shit society.

It is rare, but there is a reason why people buy it at that price. No one wants to buy Street Fighter 2 for over $10. MvC2 gameplay is so sick that even though they didn’t up the graphics to where SFHD is it completely destroys that game.

One of the best fighters, but not worth $15 lol. Personally I felt SFHD was trash, I rather play the original. MvC2 didn’t really need a graphics upgrade, what it needed was online. People been buying this game at crazy prices because they love it, now they can play it against others online.

Tekken DR did nothing different, but didn’t need to. Online was all people wanted.

Maybe you don’t like the game as much as me, but this game plus online = buy for me. If it was $30 I would buy it. I purchased my ps2 copy for $100+.

The fans just asked for it to be downloadable and have online. The graphics don’t mean much in a arcade fighter (and it does look better, if you compare it to the original).

Like I said its worth the money, because now the game that been hundreds of dollars is available for $15. Trust me the game was so hot, people didn’t mind paying that much. Now it has online and is cheap, I say jump on it.

Don’t take this the wrong way but I’m honestly asking what is so good about the gameplay for MvC2? The only thing I really liked about it was how far you could knock someone in the air. I remember playing this on dreamcast and I thought Power Stone was better. Tekken DR already looked good so there wasn’t much for improvement but MvC2 on the other hand needs better graphics. I’m not a graphical junkie but it’s hard for me to play PS1 looking games unless they are classics like FFVII. I guess for hardcore fans of this game it’s a must buy but for me I can’t justify spending $15 for online, I rather just stick with the dreamcast version.

Its all about the combos and super finishers. The pace of the game and how you can pick certain teams to take on what team your challenger picked. A great team is based on who you pick and what type you pick (ground ect). This game is very competitive, we use to bet playing this game. The controls are sick as well, the amount of fighters. Having wolverine,hulk,spider-man in a game is just fun. Knowing exactly when to switch partners and or sending them out. The game is just bad ass. Also air combos never get old.

Nothing feels better than winning with a super combo finish, with all 3 of your people at once.

The demo was ass though, you must have 2 people to play…huh?
