E3 2009 Press Release

This years E3 should be a big one.

Here’s what all three platform makers have to say about this years E3 2009

“Microsoft is gearing up for a big presence at E3 which will completely transform how people think about home entertainment,” said Mattrick. “We’re excited about the momentum that is building in the industry in anticipation of our June 1st media briefing, which will kick off E3 in blockbuster style.”

“Nintendo has been a long time attendee of E3 and it has our full support,” said Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime. “E3 brings a wide variety of key audiences into contact with products from many companies, including Nintendo. It’s the place where creativity is on display, and as a ‘sneak peak’ for our entire industry it helps generate excitement for gamers around the world.”

“Sony Computer Entertainment America is looking forward to another great showing at this year’s E3 Expo,” said SCEA boss Jack Tretton. “The audience of North American-based and foreign media and key industry partners makes E3 Expo an ideal place for us to unveil the latest PlayStation news and products at our press event on June 2.”

ROFL Nintendos and Microsofts sound so exciting and hopeful then there is Sonys which sounds disappointing.

oh and i think microsoft will anounce gears 3 (video perhaps) , next xbox news but not a announcment of its release, some more games (some of those halo games they are working on). oh and the last itteration of the 360 code name valhalla with a combined cpu and gpu that cuts production costs even more dropping the 360′s price to 150 and 250$

from nintendo i am expecting 3 Nintendo exclusives for wii and 3 for ds not counting zelda spirit tracks, and more dsi colors , and possably a different wii color for winter :). im not expecting a wii price drop unless microsoft drops price.

and more from sony the team ico game, god of war 3 video again, hopefully a price drop xD

I doubt that ms will anounce gears 3, gears 2 hasnt even been out for a year. I dont know what ms will be doing as far as hardcore game, besides demoing some 3rd party games. But i know that they will be trying to stick their hand in the casual market after seeing the succes of the wii

Hopefully they do. I keep low expectations, that way i’m never disappointed.
