EA hopes Sony’s future gets a little brighter

EA’s Glen Schofield stated:

“I’m really not sure what’s going on with Sony,” he said. “They’ve been such a great, great partner and PlayStation 2 being such a great machine that, God, I hope they get out of this and they figure it out and they’re around for a long time.”

“You know, I can’t tell them what to do. I don’t know their finances”, he added.”

Do you know how bussiness works? The main reason why there is going to be a space in home is to get people to go their and check out their games that poster up and put on the big screen, it’s just another way to market that’s all. If EA really cared they would make all their DLC for games like Dead Space free and don’t stop with burnout.

They don’t give free DLC for any game system so why would they start with us? they have DLC that costs money because just like any other companies they want to make as much money as they can off us just look at GTA their swimmin in money with DLC and you didn’t have to go into a virtual world to find out about that game

EA and ps2 were best friends. wat happened? I hope EA can be best friends with ps3 too. With the new IPs exclusive to ps3 like mirror edge dlc, fight night 4 dlc, dead space dlc, and burnout dlc, seems like EA is becoming closer.

Don’t try to take what I said out of context, I know Fight Night Round 4 and some other games will be shown at the EA Space. I just was saying DLC from their games would be nice if it was all free because sometimes they take out content that should have been included in the game. You sound like your contradicting yourself because first you say EA cares because of their space in home and now you say they don’t care to give us free DLC. Face it EA is money hungry and some customers are like a kid in a candy shop.

Well if you ask me 21 million units with a higher price tag and shorter life than its comp is good to me. Tierd of hearing sony needs to do this and that, they are doing fine. Seems logical that 360 will have 7 million more units it was the only system out for its first year.

All he’s really saying is that sony needs to step up their game.
I heartily agree, but with their line up for this year and the way they’re handling the Killzone 2′s promotions that shouldn’t be a problem.
