This looks pretty slick with the “analog” stick on the left side for movement, and from what I hear they pulled it off control-wise.

If you have an iPhone already it’s a win/win…the last thing you need is 8 devices in your pocket, so the closer we get to having an all in one device with a super battery, the better for everyone. I refuse to carry a man-purse for all of my electronic accessories! Even if it is a Louie knapsack where I hold all the work at…

I hear you…
Think about this…there are 2,214,403,777 (I can’t even imagine lol) cell phone owners in the entire world…PSP and DS owners don’t come close to that. Say about 2/3 of those ppl have crappy cell phones and you still have a huuuuuge market for potential gamers once the technology becomes good enough to offer better gaming experiences.
The reason why this is significant is because this exposes gaming to a completely new demographic that was previously unavailable to developers before.
I agree that at the moment, PSP and DS trump the cell phone for gaming, but that won’t last for long if you look @ how popular casual gaming has become especially in places like Japan and the strides being taken to make cell phone gaming a viable alternative to hand held consoles on the market. Food for thought…
