Burnout full game in Playstation Store this FALL

Another first from SONY!

This fall Burnout Paradise will be first 3rd Party Full game Blu-Ray disc title to convert and turn into DLC. That’s right! Burnout this fall will be available for download in the Playstation Store for only $29.99 and will come with all the DLC they have release for.

All new game modes, like Online Marked Man and Online Road Rage. Awesome new vehicles, including the Hunter Olympus and Nakamura Rai-jin Turbo. 70 all-new challenges featuring against-the-clock gameplay and leaderboards plus the in-game calendar and news page. You can check all the details on Criterion Games site.

They also stated to keep an eye out for a huge new island play area, stacks of new challenges and maybe even aircraft!

They are really trying to take DLC to the next level.

i had the retail version but i traded it in for some credit towards mgs4. but i planned on repurchasing it from retail (now its only 29) but ima wait til its DLable on network. simple fact like MikeDemo1′s ps3…mine bricked and i had to cough up 150 bucks to get drive replaced only to receive my system back in 2 weeks and brick on the same day i received it. had to ship off AGAIN (free this time due to new 90day warranty) and i got it back couple weeks ago. so im trying to use the drive as less as possible. i got dl version of gran turismo pro and im gettin dl version of socom. now burnout is going to the network…ill be picking that one up too. looks like sony is beat microsoft to the punch. microsoft allegedly is all about DL media and such but sony is doing a steam in a way and is reaping all the benefits.

ms box is limited to the allotted space they manufacture harddrives for the console. if i got the dough i can pop in a 320gb hdd in my ps3 and download like crazy, save all my dvds on hdd via divx format, save all my music, photos, browse web (firefox browser via linux…which is FREE also) and much more all from ONE system…best part…all of that requires no disc use. ill still have mgs4 and other disc based games that require much space but still…i like the option. im fully supporting the DL titles.
