Final Fantasy 13 demo and E3 confirmed
It has been confirmed that there will be a FF 13 Demo at this years E3, but the bigger question is. Could this be a hint that the game could be released by the end of this year?
This is really good news, because this lets us know that there pretty far along in development which means even if it doesn’t come out by the end of this year, maybe early next year like Killzone.
“Good news is though, Square Enix is appearing at E3 2008. This is looking like a good sign as the Expo returns to the Los Angeles Convention Centre. Last year when E3 was in shams, Square Enix choose to basically sit the entirety of E3 07 out, to the dismay of FF fans worldwide. As the Expo is returning to a singular location, and Square is confirmed to have a very large both to itself once again, and not to mention the drought in news, E3 2008 will almost certainly bring news on FF13 and hopefully Versus 13 as well.”
“Square Enix is planning on getting a demo out to the public, although not specifying any particular region. The demo is planned mainly to showcase the new and very different battle system of Final Fantasy 13. The theme of the first game is determination, something that has been translated well so far in Lightning’s actions and expression”

Square Enix Kicks Faces: No E3 Demo At All
Oh, another day and another hour. This time we debunk a rumor. The latest one that just smashed through the window of hopes is the teary eyed rumor that there will be a demo for Final Fantasy XIII to display engine goodies for the highly anticipated RPG that PS3 people are fond of and 360 people are drooling to have.
Well, stop hoping and praying. Not answered in other words. Here’s what Square Enix’s NA PR has to say:
We have no plans whatsoever to intro a playable demo or any demo at E3 on the FFXIII project.
Okay okay. Hold back the gushing tears of agony. So there won’t be any playable demo this year at E3. Does it really surprise anyone? But one thing is for sure, you can all still keep hoping that some form of FFXIII will show up at E3.
