I think dat shit is so damn lame! I don’t really think im going to but this game unless it gets good reviews or closer to when it comes out it has good game play. But as of now im not just going to buy it off of the title.

Does anyone know if they’re using the same engine that’s used in COD 4? I don’t like the setting of WWII, it’s been played out – plus the old weapons and clothing look lame. I won’t be buying this game right off the bat, I’m going to wait for reviews et al. I think Infinity Ward are designing the COD after this one and that game should be amazing.

you guys dont get it this is the pacific theatre of the war these are us marines and navy corpsman going up against the japanese forces. i have rarely seen games go into this theatre , its always been normandy and fighting the nazi’s this time its mostly going out and getting the japanese. yeah cod 4 is probably better but ive wanted to see it play out in the pacific and not many games have gone there. from the looks of it its mostlly pacific probably singapore or the phillipines. and of course it is “world at war” so there might be some european battles or battles in the middle east or africa. any way who knows as long as i get to storm the beaches of iwo jima im goood

this game was at its best with COD4 and it should’ve not gone back to ww2 because there are too many games that are based in ww2. also if they didnt want to do a current war (the Iraq war) then they couldve made up there own. if they have enough creativity to come up with 3 ww2 shooters then they should have enought creativity to come up with there own war.

yes they are using the COD4 engine so you could expect the same speed, and almost similar game play as COD4 since is the same engine.
NOW i got to say WOW it looks really nice i though it would suck since u know 3 sucks but its ok. BUT i will not be gettin it since ill b in SOCOM so is pointless for me to get it unless it brings some crazy new shit in to the FPS gender it will be in the back of my mind.

The only reason why i got my hands on COD4 is because it was “Modern”.. going back to WWII, i dont think i will play it. I dont like that setting.
